Recently I got the Fuji FinePix IS-1, which is an Infrared (IR) sensitive camera. Thus far I have been enjoying photographing with this bad boy. The pupil are inverted, skin glows, hair is different. It is almost as if they are vampires. When it’s sunny outside the world is a completely different place.

I only meant to bless you
Here is how the story goes
* Beloved friends came by the office whom I haven’t seen in a while.
* Kato sneezes
* I said “Bless you”.
* Kato cries as if I stole his college education fund.
* I got scolded by Matthew “What are you telling my kids. Don’t say that”.
* I say “Gesundheit?”.
* Kato cries more
I fail at baby sneeze.

Slowly catching up…
With crazy freelance work, day time job, and life getting in the way of life for the past few months, I have not had the time to upload photos of my own. Before things gets crazier–with the holidays creeping up–I want to slowly upload handful at a time.
Moon rise in Baltimore was taken in Saratoga and Charles street. It does not look like Baltimore at all.
Broccoli Brain Cloud was a scene after Hurricane Irene. I was coming out of a hospital visit and this lone cloud was just floating at a distance.
Air Line, sunny day, walking around with my 70-200, looked up, plane woozing by, click. Nuff said.:)
I love my 70-200.

Some walk their dog, I walk my camera
When time permits I love to take my camera for walk around Baltimore. The city has so many hidden nooks and crannies, various angles and lightings I feel like a tourist every time. Sometimes I’m looking way up with my mouth wide open, looking way down as if I’m looking for a quarter, or simply looking straight like I have x-ray vision. No matter which way, I find the whole process of walking my camera very cathartic and adventurous. What better way enjoy time.
I noticed the city doesn’t reveal itself to oneself. Rather one have to reveal itself to the city–normality is not how it appears but how one assimilate the given data. Only then will the sublime creep out of the ordinary.
Below are photos captured in May. Whenever I see things I make up micro stories about them to entertain myself. It is somewhat loco, but then again I am walking my camera.

Ed+Harper
Last week I was photographing Scott Matejicka (www.Matejicka.com) playing at Mount Vernon park. And so happens Ed and Harper waltzed along bathing on the golden west sun. Seeing both of them put a big smile on my face and click. I loved the face Harper made on the black and white one. It was a nice day to be at the park.

ADDED 2011-08-31
While I was cleaning my desktop I found a picture of Jodi and Harper that was taken few weeks ago.

Concrete window shade.
When the sign rebels.
The fall of the sign.
